Understanding conflict Resolution and Self Defence

Leran Self Defence at Wolverhampton Jiujitsu, our qualification is aimed at security staff who require extra training in conflict management. It is appropriate for a wide range of sectors and is suitable for anyone who has a customer facing role, dealing  with service users or the general public. It can also be a useful qualification for individuals who would like a better understanding of how to prevent conflict situations from arising and feel more confident in being able to deal with situations if they arise.

Here at SJA Training service have used our combine security experience and put together a course that works both for security and any other day to day public service user.

This accredited qualification has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA). It is based on the relevant SIA Specifications for Learning and Qualifications and provides the necessary skills and knowledge for learners who wish to apply for an SIA licence and work as a door supervisor within the private security industry.

Subjects covered include behavioral standards, legislation relevant to the role, search procedures, powers of arrest, recording incidents and crime scene preservation, avoiding conflict and reducing personal risk, conflict management, reducing risk and communicating effectively.

NATIONALLY ACCREDITED CONFLICT RESOLUTION TRAINING COURSE AT WOLVERHAMPTON

Our conflict resolution training course at Wolverhampton Jiujitsu is nationally accredited and extremely beneficial to most health care staff. The course is highly hands on and we simulate real working events where conflict is prevalent. Our professional facilitators provide unique training that builds the confidence and skills of staff to handle conflict and aggressive situations.

As a member of the Institute of Conflict Management,  we recommend that most frontline healthcare professionals attend conflict resolution workshops,using our training package.

Currently delivering this course to some care personnel and lone worker who go out into the community.

Delivered over one day by incorporating unit 2, of the level 2 Physical Intervention course delivered to door staff.
